In a statement from his home in Venezuela today, Rich said ?I spoke with Manny and he is very excited to support my campaign for President of Red Sox Nation. I cannot think of a better person to serve with me to run Red Sox Nation if I win.? Manny will play an important role in my presidency. Now you can vote for El Guapo and Manny, Papi?

This is ridiculous. Rich Garces is wonderful, however, I know he is not doing any of this and this is all being done by someone else. He has no idea any of this is going on. I believe its someone who is worried about their sales position and thinks he can get into the sox organization this way.
Uhhh actually Rich plays in New Hampshire now and he is on video with a campaign speech.
I love El Guapo. He has done a lot for the bobble-belly set. I enjoyed watching him pitch when he was with the Sox as well. I have had a lt of fun with this election. My qursion is, though, if Manny’s his running mate, how will El Guapo look in dreadlocks?
